What about MMS Voicemail? (Jan 12 2004 18:16 GMT) - MMS messaging, and services that depend on it have not exactly taken Europe by storm, but I can think of at least one service I'd really appreciate from my service provider: The option to have voicemail delivered in an MMS. At present when people leave me voicemail, I often don't know about it until Vodafone send me an SMS message saying I have N new voicemail and M new e-mail messages. Often this message is some 2 or 3 days after the fact, making the voicemail at best fairly obsolete, but in most cases entirely moot. I'd be willing to pay a premium to have the messages pushed to my phone as soon as I switched it back on. |
