There's no shrinkage (Jan 12 2004 19:59 GMT) - This is a photo of the sweater I started yesterday....or, really, it's more of a photo of the yarn with my hand in the way to give you some idea of just how massive the yarn is that I'm working with. I knitted about an hour last night and an hour today and I'm almost done with the back piece. At this rate, I'll be done in a few days....although I'm going to be knitting orders, too, so I doubt I'll be done that quickly. |

Films Which Consumed Their Makers (Jan 12 2004 19:58 GMT) - Last post by Trouser Freak on 18:48 12/Jan/04 - Thinking about the Toys trailer reminded me of this topic: movies which took years or decades to make, or after all that work were never made in the end, with the (would-be) director staggering on obsessed, undeterred by the million obstacles in their way, occasionally up to the point they fell dead in the road. |

The Rules Of Attraction (Jan 12 2004 19:58 GMT) - Last post by Jon on 14:12 12/Jan/04 - Saw it at the weekend. The director made a few interesting moves in it but it is crippled by the sheer worthlessness of the source material. |

how much should i charge? (Jan 12 2004 19:57 GMT) - Last post by Stan on 18:26 12/Jan/04 - I've done an A3 drawing of Samuel Beckett for a friend of the family, and she's asked me to name my price for it. I don't want to stiff her, but it did take me fucking ages and without wishing to blow my own trumpet, it's a bit good. |
