Wes Clark Jr. (Feb 03 2004 23:59 GMT) - Calpundit: Halftime Score There's an article here written about Wes Clark's son and things he says about the race that I find refreshing. He's frustrated about the dirty campaign tricks, and I think there's too little attention being paid to these things. |

Helpline Comment (25558) (Feb 03 2004 23:57 GMT) - RE:Robert Cobb DO NOT RUN A FAULTY POWER SUPPLY!!! This includdes a bad fan! The power supply is connected to EVERYTHING, when it does fry itself there could be a system destroying power surge. That might be true in a since, but I have had a working power supply with a good fan & one day, while I was working, the machine just shut off & then I begin to smell a terrible burn smell from the power supply, & yes when the power supply died it took everything with it, hard drive, video card, motherboard, etc. |

On the map (Feb 03 2004 23:55 GMT) - This article in Wired looks at specialized mapping systems which use processing power to blend many different kinds of information from city agencies and local utilities to aid and improve urban planning.During a recent cold snap in New York, mapping software helped the city plot the addresses of people who had called to complain about having lost their heat. That helped determine precisely where they should set up "heating centers" for New Yorkers to huddle in. No clown babies for me (Feb 03 2004 23:54 GMT) - This morning, I looked in on the clown fish and their eggs, to see how they were doing, how they were progressing. Only, I did not see any of the eggs, they must have hatched out last night shortly after their light went out. I didn't think the eggs were that far along. Poo.
