A sexy Apple Store hardware ID token? (Feb 03 2004 20:58 GMT) - Back in the day ('00-'01) when I did pre-sales engineering for a web application server, I dove into client-side SSL for authentication. (Oddly, lots of otherwise smart coworkers didn't even know that SSL was dual purpose.) It was frustrating to say the least that support for it among Mac browsers was effectively nonexistent. That appears to be changing with Safari 1.2. |

Blog Comments - Your Take (Feb 03 2004 20:58 GMT) - As part of my ongoing redesign I'm planning on reworking my comments. I've done a bit of research tonight on blog comments and all the various ways in which they are displayed, entered and organized. There are all sorts of innovative ways in which folks are working with comments. Jon has a live comment preview and Dunstan has all kinds of interesting things happening. There are almost as many ways to handle comments as there are sites out there. |
