- I've taken apart a power supply to remove a noisy fan. It was a simple operation and there is no need to deal with the PSU board itself. The fan should be replaced or another stuck on the outside (probably at least as big as the fans used on socket 7 CPUs) because PSUs usually do produce some heat. BTW, a Pentium 120 is a little on the slow side for SNES emulators I think (I used ZSNES). With fast L2 cache and video memory it will be OK but I'd go for any of the CPUs with MMX (not for the MMX itself but just because they're faster) (Comment references www. |

- Ok, so last night I had no power for a few hours, making it impossible to blog, watch TV, or anything else. I woke up to my mother calling to ask if I needed money to go to the Y for a shower, as there was a water-main break(pictures shortly) at the end of my street. Thankfully my water is just fine, making me think the water is from another main. I got up, showered, went to look for work only to find my street got flooded with about 5 to 6 inches of water from said water main break, and was slippery as hell. this water also caused all buses to be routed as far away from my street as possible. |
