Broken images (Feb 29 2004 02:40 GMT) - Urk. the images have suddenly been moved to a new server. Dunno how to access the full-sized pics now... Temporarily using the resized and mutilated images. Which is why the background now looks weird. |

Two Years Ago: My First Thoughts on Weblogs (Feb 29 2004 02:40 GMT) - It's amazing what two years will do. I'm now employed as the weblog guy at a mobile startup, but it was two years ago today when I started using Radio Userland and started grasping the whole idea of what weblogs are. It's amazing that two years on, I still see new weblogs with essentially the same type of post in their first week: Weblogs Okay, so they're the in-thing now. I wish I thought of the idea years ago since it's such a simple thing to do - you write your thoughts, click a button and bam, your home page is updated with fresh content. |

What? This guy is a Conservative my ASS. (Feb 29 2004 02:36 GMT) - I'm being pushed further and further away from the Republican party every frigging day. "I believe marriage has served society well and I believe it is important to affirm that marriage of a man and woman is ideal, and the job of the president is to drive policy toward the ideal," Bush told reporters in response to a question. With all due respect, Mr. President, no the fuck it isn't. |

Conference Fees (Feb 29 2004 02:35 GMT) - $125 seems like a lot for a one-day conference, and that's without the extra meeting with either an agent or an editor. Of course, I could register as a student and pay half... I guess that's the best option if... |
