Natural Vision Improvement (Feb 29 2004 06:33 GMT) - However, the advertisement did mention that Janet Goodrich is the author of a book titled Natural Vision Improvement. After searching Singapore, at Sunny's (located at Far East Plaza) and various other book store, I couldn't find it. So I took the search to the Internet, and found the book at Amazon. |

The Big Mango (Feb 29 2004 06:33 GMT) - Finished The Big Mango the other day. Awesome read. Bangkok 8 was better but Jake is a great author and expert on Bangkok. I pickd up all his books at Asia Books in Bangkok. Awesome book and one of the only places to find his books given he only sells and publishes in Thailand. |

The Holy Way: Practices for a Simple Life (Feb 29 2004 06:33 GMT) - One of the most wonderful things about this retreat is something that's missing -- panic. When I went on my first multi-day retreat here a year ago, I started to climb the walls of the hermitage, freaked out about what might be going on a home, whether I should be here, what the monks might think of me, whatever. It helped recently to read in Paula Huston's The Holy Way (I highly reccommend it) that she had the same reaction to her first retreat here. |

Shadow : Five Presidents and the Legacy of Watergate (Feb 29 2004 06:33 GMT) - I've been reading Bob Woodward's Shadow the last few days and it's very good, much better than the other books of his I've read. What's so fun about it is the juicy details Woodward reveals. For instance, Woodward abslutely takes a crap on the Ford presidency. Not only does he make a big deal out of how the secretary of defense ignored direct orders from Ford, but also Woodward describes Ford's penchant for having a few martinis with lunch, a custom he supposedly picked up while serving in the Ho ... |

Compact Disc Minimum Advertised Price Antitrust Litigation Settlement (Feb 29 2004 06:31 GMT) - Wow. Last year, I filled out the survey on the CD Music Settlement website. The Defendants are five music distributors and three music retailers. |
