Web Bloopers : 60 Common Web Design Mistakes, and How to Avoid Them (Feb 29 2004 07:33 GMT) - I just watched a CS 547 talk by the author of Web Bloopers, Jeff Johnson on (not too surprisingly) Web Bloopers. The talk was very interesting, and Johnson went over a lot of common problems with many commercial websites. The talk itself is publicly available, and I encourage any professional web designer to watch it. |

Do You Feel Lucky, Punk? (Feb 29 2004 07:33 GMT) - Dr. Richard Wiseman of the University of Hertfordshire thinks there may be a correlation between birth month and luck. In other words, winter babies might think of themselves as unlucky, while spring babies see everything coming up roses. He's going to run a survey to see if he's right.
