Sus razones: Asegurar que un weblogger no vive de aire es "Repugnante y asqueroso" Al aceptar este tipo de pagos, Fabrizio se convierte en una persona menitorosa, hipcrita y deshonesta Usar un blog con fines lucrativos es mezquino En parte entiendo y sobre todo respeto la opinin de cierta parte de la comunidad de weblogs en que no aceptan que estos ganen dinero pero debo de expresar publicamente mi total desacuerdo con este aproximamiento a la actividad webloggera. Hay varios puntos que defienden el hecho que los weblogs ganen dinero y voy a enumerar unos cuantos, es importante hacer nfasis en el hecho que todo lo que voy a mencionar, son cosas que ya se han hecho y que han resultado en weblogs escritos en ingls. |

- It is a crime that there are so few opportunities for Hawai'i jazz musicians to showcase their talents here, and this makes it difficult for any aspiring group of players to play together for an extended period of time, and to develop the bond and blend that jazz requires. The Honolulu Jazz Quartet has managed to accomplish just this, and released their debut CD in the fall of 2003. Bassist John Kolivas, pianist-composer Dan Del Negro, saxophonist Tim Tsukiyama and drummer Adam Baron all boast impressive resumes and performances with big name jazz and pop artists and on Broadway. I can't think of a better CD to pop in the car as you're driving through the city at night. Their debut CD, "Sounds Of The City," has garnered high praise from critics, and the praise is well earned. |

It tells the story of Trent Lott, his talk at Strom Thurmond's birthday party, and how the news flowed through professional channels, to the blogosphere, and back, ultimately resulting in Lott's resignation as majority leader of the US Senate. I first met with Esther Scott, the author of the case study, in May 2003, and met with Alex Jones, the director of Shorenstein, who commissioned the study, a couple of weeks ago. A personal note, it's gratifying to see the study is available publicly, this makes it available for review by bloggers, as well as being useful in classrooms, and as a reference to scholars who will study weblogs in the future. |
