Recently I listened to volume 66 of the Mars Hill Audio Journal in which they discussed the third movie in detail with Ralph Wood, a noted English professor at Baylor University. He cited several things which had been bothering ... |

Floats vs. doubles in Java (Mar 05 2004 07:59 GMT) - I'm currently writing a 3D game in Java that requires insane amounts of floating point arithmetic. As many Java APIs deal exclusively with doubles, I have pretty much all my variables in the double format for convenience. However, I do not need the range or precision of doubles. Floats would be entirely sufficient. Now I wonder: |

Он опять подтвердил идею о сокращении числа министерств. По прежнему остаются вопросы, связанные с персональным составом правительства. |

Made tasty butternut squash soup ... (Mar 05 2004 07:55 GMT) - Made tasty butternut squash soup tonight. I forgot to get ingredients for my crazy squash soup idea! That idea being to bread and fry sliced zucchini, and to float it on the soup as a garnish. Now no one will ever know how that would taste! Until the next time I get a chance to try it. |

*Survey of YaST2 Configurator on SuSE 9.0 * (Mar 05 2004 07:55 GMT) - [OSNews] - All of us who are in computers know that at present we are using enhanced software products for applications, which our predecessors never thought about or used. Why do we need a word processor when a simple text file does the same job of documentation. Why do we need Access or Oracle like DBMS when spreadsheets can do the same job of data storage. Why do we need an IDE like Visual Studio.NET or Borland when we can use vi or emacs for code writing. |
