Michael Getler, the ombudsman at the Washington Post, explains why Palestinian terrorist attacks are not terrorism:The Israelis, of course, describe such acts as terrorism. Texas Poker (Mar 31 2004 04:10 GMT) - It's sort on neat how Bush got the Democrats and the media to scream for Condi to appear before the 9/11 commission. That screaming drowned out some of Clarke's message and gave the administration and its supporters time to pick apart his credibility. Now Bush can play his best card at the right point in the game. Condi testifies in public and under oath. Her testimony won't contradict her prior secret testimony and she knows a lot more than Clarke about the events surrounding 9/11.... |

lill studio (Mar 31 2004 04:09 GMT) - lill studio window, newbury st i visited the new bag store 1154 lill studio today on newbury street. while the bags are way too pricey for me, the fabrics are beautiful to look at and touch. (i wanted to get a closer picture of the lovely fabrics but i was afraid i would look suspicious/patetic if the 20 sales clerks saw me taking my camera out.)i thought about buying a tiny change purse for $25 but i really don't need one. the idea is very clever you can shop all the fabrics and custom create a bag from one of the ready made designs. |

Intent of Truth (Mar 31 2004 04:07 GMT) - If I was to say I was perfect,I would be way off,I would be lying, while I try not to lie,I still tend to do so,who can blame me,in this world,we all want to be accepted,we do things, and say things, just so we can be just that, accepted, the same goes for things we do not say, things held in to spare someone’s feelings, yet, not saying it can lead to lies, ones that you will find yourself regretting,I am not saying that we all should shout out offenses, but tell people what you really think if you must,if you feel compelled,do not compliment for ‘points’,you know what I mean‘you look very pretty’,or,‘you did a good job’,when and if both are lies, some people would rather know, what you think, not what you made up to spare feelings.--- Do not tell me this poem was good... for even I frown at it, I wrote what I am feeling at this moment, and that is all... It is too negative for my own liking... |

Blimey, and here I was thinking... (Mar 31 2004 04:05 GMT) - So, Google is pushing Froogle to the Googlers at the expense of the Yahoos eh? Interesting that Google should be trying to boost its Froogle shopping service. I guess the split between Yahoo and Google is likely to affect both its attitude and its bottom line. Still, at least it has resisted the opportunity of poluting its Google entry page with rubbish like Yahoo and all its contemporaries. Google is a brilliant search engine that is showing a very high level of constraint and business... |
