Flash Resume (Mar 31 2004 06:59 GMT)

- I don't much like Flash. 90% of the time it's used for ads or, some UI a designer thinks is brilliant, but which could just as easily be done with much less work with CSS, or some stupid text effect that adds nothing to the user experience. Luckily, Firefox has this extension available which disables Flash. It doesn't actually disable it, it just replaces it with the "click to play" symbol you see above - so you can avoid any adds or stupid UIs, but just click when you do want to see something. A great solution, because 10% of the time Flash is used for something cool.

The Daily Targum

RU offense breaks out after dismal weekend (Mar 31 2004 06:58 GMT)

- Nikki Childress's eyes had never been larger. Especially not if there are runners on base.
