"Hey Dad, wanna go out and throw the ol' pigskin around? |

Java, GTK#, and Mono? (Mar 31 2004 14:58 GMT) - This morning I stumbled upon a posting by Miquel de Icaza about writing a Java program that accessed the GTK# libraries and ran on Mono using the IKVM JVM. If you read the article, you'll see that it looks pretty straightforward and supposedly allows you to access Mono/.NET libraries as well. What does this mean to the Java community? First Presbyterian Church of Oak Ridge, Tennessee (Mar 31 2004 14:56 GMT) - There should be a law that states any church talented enough to perform the Brahms Requiem is also talented enough to create an effective and attractive online presence. But I like the Box Better (Mar 31 2004 14:55 GMT) - When I started this weblog three years ago, it was a continuation of my web site that I've had since 1995. As such, it focused primarily on technology, with an occasional aside into science or art or literature. I started with a free Manila-based weblog hosted by Userland, which was removed sometime last year, probably because it hadn't been updated for so long. I regret now that I didn't copy some of the entries, but not too much because I didn't really write anything special... |
