Marc's Outlook on Productivity

The trials are over - sticking with the Palm OS (Apr 20 2004 01:59 GMT)

- I gave the Blackberry and the Sidekick a thorough workout but... no dice. The PIM functionality is brutally primitive and I just could not accept the limitations either imposed on my Getting Things Done workflow and need to fully sync with Outlook. Although the Blackberry did sync well, it's task manager and calendar were so rudiementary as to be almost unisable. In addition, the Blackberry's browser was awful.

comment problems (Apr 20 2004 01:59 GMT)

- I know that we're still experiencing problems with comments here (and at other mozillazine-hosted weblogs) and kerz says he's going to look into it as soon as he has some free time. I apologize for the problem but it's not my fault. It's not kerz' problem either, I suspect. My guess is that it's a problem with the movable type throttling which doesn't handle multiple blogs across different time zones or something like that. Phil Rignalda has a possible solution if this is indeed the problem.
