- My advice is to never do work at a reduced rate. Even though you're giving them a break, they're still paying you, so they're still the customer. That's not to say that you shouldn't do a friend a favor, or help out someone who's really in need. When those cases arise, do the work for free (or at most the cost of parts). That makes it absolutely clear that this is not a business transaction, it is a favor. |
