It's my pure speculation, but it could be relevant that the stone was situated by the pool - that is, perhaps the pool was the original place of veneration. The pool (now filled in) and stone were to the north-east of the church. I do realise they have to be in some direction, but it did remind me of the Rudstone Monolith which is also to the north of its church. And if it's a genuine standing ... |

РАО ЕЭС и “Ренова” займутся реформой коммунальных сетей (Apr 22 2004 11:52 GMT) - Газпромбанк перестал быть акционером ОАО “Российские коммунальные системы” (РКС), уступив свой 25%-ый пакет акций компании Объединенная финансовая группа. Имя клиента, в интересах которого действовала ОФГ, не указывается, однако аналитики в один голос называют Виктора Вексельберга и возглавляемую им компанию “Ренова”. Если информация о сделке получит подтверждение, “Ренова” станет крупнейшим акционером РКС и одновременно владельцем блокирующего пакета. Об этом сообщает второй выпуск “Монитора” со ссылкой на различные сегодняшние издания. ОАО РКС было создано в мае 2003 г. |
