Watch those typos (Apr 22 2004 15:55 GMT) - This morning, after a doctor's appointment, I was greeted by a frightened employee worried about what might show up in her Internet History. It seems that she wanted to check a prices on something at a sporting soods store and inverted two of the letters in the name, when she typed the URL. That new word was a whole different sort of site from what she was looking for, and what would be considered work appropriate. Needless to say a quick accident like that, while it would grab my attention, wouldn't result in a problem so long as you immediately left that site. Several hits to that site, on the other hand, I might have to report. |
