Video quality on Channel9, should we step it up? (Apr 26 2004 04:58 GMT) - Speaking of Channel9, the first two weeks saw a fun community start up. It's been fun trying to do a couple of videos everyday that get people talking. This week we have videos of Sara Ford coming up. She's responsible for accessibility in Visual Studio (and is a tester on that team too). I note that over on Channel9 we're getting pressure to increase the quality of the videos. |

Fallujah Deadline Extended (Apr 26 2004 04:54 GMT) - From CNN via the ABC (Australian Broadcasting Corporation) : The United States has decided to wait until Tuesday before either attacking or mounting armed patrols inside the Iraqi city Fallujah, CNN television reports.Top US administrator Paul Bremer and other coalition officials reportedly reached the decision late on Saturday after discussions with residents. From Tuesday, anyone seen with an unauthorized weapon will be considered potentially hostile, US military spokesman Brigadier General Mark Kimmitt is quoted as saying. The patrols in Fallujah are to be mounted by US troops along with members of the Iraqi military and police forces. |
