Quick response to Mark A. R. Kleiman (Apr 28 2004 12:59 GMT) - because he doesn't have commenting to his blog. He asks Why does the right wing hate America so much?, pointing out Newt Gingrich's new book is "an alternate history in which the Confederates win the Battle of Gettysburg" and notes "[j]ust imagine the firestorm if a still-active Democratic politician had written a novel with Santa Ana as its hero." I just wish to point out that one of Gingrich's earlier novels was an alternate history in which the Nazis won World War 2. I don't know if that makes matters better or worse. |

They are: JavaServer Faces in Action Core JavaServer Faces Mastering JavaServer FacesI'm sure some of you will disagree with me, but I think this could be a turning point for JSF. I've known a lot of developers who are more comfortable learning a new technology if they've got a book along side to guide them through. |

As the country soon enters the European Union (EU), it will have to provide as many as 100 modern disposal sites by 2010. The problem is that there is no place to put all this garbage as no-one wants to have a dump in their own backyard. No fewer than nine local governments held plebiscites over whether to allow dumps to be set up in their neighbourhoods. Only one settlement so far... |
