The MS04-011 vulnerability exists in the Private Communications Transport (PCT) protocol in Microsoft's Secure Socket Layer (SSL). It is most commonly associated with the Internet Information Server and Microsoft Exchange, and if successfully exploited allows a hacker to take complete control of a machine. |
