Error when first downloading articels from NNTP newsgroup (Apr 30 2004 00:47 GMT) - I'm using Newsgator with an exchange e-mail account with no local PST file. When I subscribe to a newsgroup (I've got the number of message downloads cleared so I get the entire newsgroup) Newsgator attempts to download all the articles, but when it trys to update my mail store it's apparently doing it one huge mongus batch, and exceeds the limit of 250 items per connection on our exchange server.I discussed this with our admin, and we both agree that we don't want to change the items updated per connection limit, is there any way to force newsgator to update the articles in batches smaller than the entire newsgroup?Other than that problem I really like Newsgator. |

You watch: the escalation (Apr 30 2004 00:45 GMT) - After the initial excitement over the Google results for "Jew", I came to believe that the "problem" wasn't the result of antisemitic googlebombing, but just happenstance. After all, how often do Jews actually use the word "Jew" in the singular? We speak of "Jews" plural, but rarely do we use Jew. "I am Jewish" not "I am a Jew." Most of the time when I hear "Jew" used in the singular, it is by antisemites using it as an epithet. |
