Blasts from the pasts (Apr 30 2004 02:59 GMT) - Just peering at my sitemeter stats (as you do every now and then) and I've noticed a few things that reminded me of times gone by.... I've gotten two seearch hits for "the wheel of monotony neopets" in the past couple of days... actually make that three, no *scims back* 5 or 6! What is the deal with the wheel? I actually ventured over to Neo a couple of weeks back because there was a guy on a nearby pod playing it, thought I'd see how dead my pets were. |

Center for Responsible Nanotechnology (Apr 30 2004 02:58 GMT) - Molecular nanotechnology (MNT) manufacturing means the ability to build devices, machines, and eventually whole products with every atom in its specified place. MNT is coming soon—almost certainly within 20 years, and perhaps in less than a decade. When it arrives, it will come quickly. Molecular manufacturing can be built into a self-contained, tabletop factory that makes cheap products efficiently at molecular scale. The time from the first assembler to a flood of powerful and complex products may be less than a year. |

An Apologetic Bush? WTF (Apr 30 2004 02:57 GMT) - I was confused at first when I read a post by Joshua Micah Marshall of Talking Points Memo making light of the White House's daily press briefing in which Scott McClellan noted that Bush was disappointed by Mr. Ashcroft's politicizing... |

Air America Radio (Apr 30 2004 02:56 GMT) - Having listened long enough, I can finally come to a conclusion about Air America. The short opinion is that it's not too bad, if not slightly addictive. While I have yet to hear certain shows in their entirety, like The Majority Report and Morning Sedition, there are shows I have been paying closer attention to over the last... |

Tell It To The Shrapnel In My Ass! (Apr 30 2004 02:56 GMT) - I find it bizarre that President Bush, or should I say some silly scallywags fighting on his behalf, can find any kind of fault with John Kerry's behavior before, after, or during Vietnam. Bush has records supporting the fact that he's spent at least a few days on an Air National Guard base getting some cavities filled while war waged on. Kerry, on the other hand,... |
