Developing with a Tablet PC (Apr 30 2004 03:19 GMT) - Loren and I have been talking quite a bit about how to convince software developers to create new Tablet PC applications or modify existing applications. One immediate issue to address is whether or not a developer can use a Tablet PC comfortably and efficiently for the entire development process. That's right, not just testing the app, but running Visual Studio, typing away, pointing, tapping, and inking away. For the last couple of weeks Loren has been using a Toshiba Portege M200 Tablet PC as his Primary PC. It is the basic M200, with 512MB of memory, Pentium M 1. |
