NBA "buy photos" (Apr 30 2004 04:09 GMT) - So, I just went to the NBA site to see what was going on in the playoffs since most of the NBA games are on cable/satellite these days. I'm not sure what the marketing department at the NBA does but it has a "Buy photos" link below a picture of a player. I guess this is another revenue generator of some sort to "Buy Photos" .... oooooh, aaaaaah. Are there really people out there that waste their money on these? |

WHO IS THIS GUY ARGUING WITH? (Apr 30 2004 04:08 GMT) - There's clearly something going on in this strange TCS article that I don't understand. If you define "libertarian" narrowly as a philosophy of government, the article is a non sequitur; certainly libertarian philosophy makes room for law enforcement, even if... |

And You Think Your Library Has Problems Figuring Out Public Printing Issues Now?! (Apr 30 2004 04:03 GMT) - Phone Makers Team with Printers "Nokia, Samsung, and Siemens have teamed up with big names in printers to ensure that printing from mobile phones becomes as easy as desktop printing. The Mobile Imaging and Printing Consortium (MIPC) today announced that mobile handset makers Nokia, Samsung, and Siemens have become strategic members of the consortium.
