Sales Call (Apr 30 2004 04:38 GMT) - I'm not sure who told the Sales team at work that approaching me to create a raffle/user information card for a trade show with only 24 hours to design, print, and hand off was a good idea, but I plan to kick that person squarely in the shins. The giant poster they want by Wednesday morning for the other show is only slightly better. There's the other shin. And note to self: Just because you want to get in shape and think running is a good idea does not mean that running 4 miles with no real warmup is a good idea. |

- My wife asked me a long time ago why I was so into playing games on the PC and the Xbox. Well, I read this article about how the storytelling was developed for Max Payne 2 - The Fall of Max Payne. I realized that the games I tend to really like are the games with shooting, action, stealth, and a good story to tell. A story where I play the lead character and get to decide how the story plays out. Sure, I like some of the mind-numbing shoot-em up games - but the ones that I really enjoy tell me a story and let me become the main character. |
