As you'd expect, the symphony is performed by synchronized dot matrix printers. It was composed by [The User] -- "an artists' collective formed of two members: architect Thomas McIntosh and composer Emmanuel Madan," according to the site. "This friggin rocks," wrote Avarame on MacSlash. |

CLI for Noobies: Sort (Jun 01 2004 17:18 GMT) - This week the kickass column goes over the sort command. But when you compare the command line environment of DOS/Windows with that of Linux, it's like comparing a wheelbarrow with an 18-wheeler. DOS?!? Say what?!?! |

David Isenberg has a graph ... (Jun 01 2004 17:14 GMT) - David Isenberg has a graph on how 451 historians rate the Bush presidency. Given this, I guess this will likely be his historical record: Several charges against the Bush administration arose repeatedly in the comments of historians who responded to the survey. weekend stuff (Jun 01 2004 17:10 GMT) - I went to see "The Day After Tomorrow" on Saturday. No, it wasn't my idea. My wife likes movies where nature has some sort of revenge on man, and knew it was going to be stupid, but wanted to see it anyway. We went to a matinee, so at least it was somewhat cheap. Yes, I laughed inappropriately in several places. |
