Help her out by giving money on the Donation Page of Abigail Gullo. Abby wrote this letter to me: Hello Eric, I lost my dear Aunt Marie this year after her 16 year long battle with breast cancer. In her honor, I'll be participating in a very special event called the Breast Cancer 3-Day. |

Listing Your Email Address and Avoiding Spam (Jun 01 2004 19:42 GMT) - I should have listed my email address months ago on this site, but I did not want to deal with more spam. A List Apart Magazine shows a way to list spam avoiding email address in Win the SPAM Arms Race. If you want to skip the article, head to Automatic Enkoder for the web-based and OS X applications. Note that these solutions require Javascript to work. You can test the effectiveness of the email obfuscation with the Encoded email address harvester. |

The Right Scrap of Paper (Jun 01 2004 19:42 GMT) - While I still have a Handspring Visor, but I've given up using it as an input device. I found that even if I practiced using Graffiti script, or used the Fitaly Keyboard application, I still wrote much faster on paper. I never carried my Visor out when I ran errands because it took up too much space. Someday I will buy an iPod and use it as a read-only PDA, but I'll still need paper. A couple of years ago I started to carry letter-sized paper that I folded four times to fit in my pocket. |

Of Patriots and Service (Jun 01 2004 19:42 GMT) - Operation Take One for the Country Mission Statement: To discretely provide US troops shipping out overseas with the most sensually pleasing departure possible. This site surpised me, not because of the sentiment, but because of the blunt honesty and organization. I really should have expected something like this, when sites offer dating services based on political affiliation, and anyone can sell their own custom t-shirt. While Wikipedia provides a wonderful service as a free encyclopedia, it doesn't answer the question, "What do I need to know as a citizen of the United States?"
