Let's hope that it really performs as well as advertised. I sometimes find throughput in wireless networks unreliable to an extent that might make real time streaming infeasible.

Beloki slams medicine ban (Jun 07 2004 23:57 GMT)

- Spain's Joseba Beloki is angry he will not be allowed to take asthma medication during the Tour de France. The drugs he has taken since childhood contain the steroid cortisone. "With my background and the proof I have, the Spanish federation allows me to take it and the UCI (world cycling body) permits it," he said. "Neither my team nor the French federation will allow me to put [it] on my health record. I risk testing positive during the race," he said.

- Hello, I've talked to several reps. from the providers in my area about using a cell phone as a modem to dial up a local ISP. I wouldn't be using any of the services offered by the cellular providers other than the airtime. I prefer a prepaid plan but the reps I talked with were mixed in their replys as to whether this was possible or not. Perhaps someone in here has a "real" answer to this question?

- That seems a bit expensive for a table support. Sure glad I decided to make mine out of wood. ;-) if you check in an RV store, they do make them with a tapered mount on the top and the bottom and you can get different length support pipes to suit the conditions. I used 2 of them for my motorhome, one inside and a longer one outside with tripod legs, when placed on the ground.
