Message: Wanted: Old Motorola Brick Phone (Jun 08 2004 11:58 GMT) - I'm looking for one of the old Motorola brick phones, or any simiilar to, the MC750 used on the analog networks in the very early 1990's. It is a very wide and heavy phone with a tall antenna. They are not worth anything anymore, but I used to have one long ago and would like to have one for old time sake. Mine was almond color and used it on Cellular One. If anyone may have one laying around collecting dust, let me know how much you want for it and I may be interested in buying it, or trading something else for it. |

Breakfast Links (Jun 08 2004 11:57 GMT) - June 12th is "Loving Day" to remember the 1967 Loving v. Virginia Supreme Court decision making interracial relationships legal. I'm stunned at how far we've come since then, now that any type of illegal relationship seems artificial and antiquated.... |

Message: Cricket service - Any good? (Esp. for Tulsa) (Jun 08 2004 11:56 GMT) - Hey all. I'm finally looking into replacing my traditional SWBell phone line, now that cellular prices are finally approaching what I already pay. Primarily, I've been doing research on cell phones, ultimately determining that they aren't quite as far along as I'd hoped. Recently, though, I started looking into what my local (Tulsa) service options were. For starters, I would strongly prefer to get service on CDMA, for a variety of reasons that I shall not - and hopefully needn't - go into. |
