- On Friday a good friend came over for dinner. This was a great chance for Khel to make two really good dishes - three, actually, if you count her special rice. The rice is mixed with finely chopped and fried garlic & ginger before it is cooked - you end up with lovely aromatic rice. The other two dishes were gailan with ginger and oyster sauce, and strips of steak with HP and fruity sauce. Yum! |

tabla again (Jun 08 2004 15:57 GMT) - Last Thursday we went to the house of Cassius khan for another set of tabla lessons. We were welcomed by Cassius and Amika and made to feel right at home. Chips, really nice home made dip. iced tea, and a chance to catch up. The lesson was good - more speed practice - and afterwards Cassius look us out is his Ferrite. |

Of course the Beeb suggest there is a sinister reason behind all of this, but I can hope that people of all backgrounds are flying the flag because they're proud of it, and our football team.
