Good mornin' to ya (Jun 08 2004 23:27 GMT) - Jerry Jones has taken his toys and gone home. I guess he was pretty unhappy with the speed that the horribly dysfunctional county government was moving, and just about any business person would agree with him. Jerruh wanted something to happen, some movement or negotiations, by June 30. Of course, the county people immediately started bowing up and talking big talk about how they weren't gonna get pushed around. However, it seems his people cancelled a couple of meetings with the county people over the last couple of weeks. |

FAQ, or "What's The Worse That Can Happen?" (not D (Jun 08 2004 23:27 GMT) - Not exactly an example of a small website, but look at what happened to boo.com a few yrs ago, big launch, loads of money behind it, but the site was crap. It was all in flash and took and age to load, while being difficult to navigate. Loads of money was invested, loads was lost, I think it lasted a matter of months. As far as I'm concerned, if you build it, they won't necessarily come, and even if they do, they may not stay around very long. |

Message: Motorola 120e, Choppy Connection, and beepiness (Jun 08 2004 23:27 GMT) - My Cellular Carrier sent me a refurbished Motorola 120e. I really like the cell phone, but everytime I make a call from my house people complain that I am "breaking up." Is this common with Motorola Cell Phones? Could it be the connection from my home or because it is a refurbished phone? I had an older model Nokia and whenever I made a phone call from home, it wasn't clear to the receiving party, also. |

But if you think your personal details disappear as soon as you hit the Return key, think again: they can sit on the computer's hard disk for years waiting for a hacker to rip them off. SureType (Jun 08 2004 23:25 GMT) - Perform common tasks - opening Web sites and applications and typing commonly-used text - just by typing a regular word. For example, no matter what you are doing on your computer, in any application, you could just type word and immediately Microsoft Word would open. Similarly, type excel and Microsoft Excel will open, or aol to open America Online, or address to have your full address appear on the screen. Only when you type the special expansion key (by default, backslash) after a word will SureType take effect. The more you use your computer, the more time SureType will save you. |
