911 : The Cleveland Airport Mystery (Jun 10 2004 00:59 GMT) - It appears, that the majority of 9/11 Researchers and the 9/11 family members, who lost their loved ones, have to compile a new list of questions about an airport, which didn't receive much attention yet: Cleveland Hopkins, Ohio. Among the disturbing new details are two flights, which apparently had been part of yet another "mirror flight" scenario. "Both" got grounded in Ohio. One of them was Delta1989, the other one was identified as, most shocking: |

Just a sidebar..... Reagan Funeral (Jun 10 2004 00:58 GMT) - Just my 2 cents. I sat and watched the pageantry of the Ronald Reagan state funeral ceremony today. It reminded me of how lucky I am to live in a place where I am free to do everything I want - to take chances and create as I desire. We Americans are lucky to live in the greatest place in the world, and we can never forget that. We can never forget the sacrifices that have been made on our behalf, and we must be willing to also make sacrifices for the freedom of the generations that follow. |

Business Software: Eat or be Eaten (Jun 10 2004 00:57 GMT) - That is the lesson, according to WSJ, of the disclosure that Microsoft and SAP held merger talks recently. Continued sluggishness in sales of corporate information technology is beginning to break that logjam. The emerging standard-setters -- Microsoft, Oracle, SAP and International Business Machines Corp. -- now are considering deals to solidify their positions in the technology infrastructure and application programs needed by businesses large and small. The smaller companies, some analysts say, need to figure out how they fit in those major camps, including considering takeover possibilities. |

Message: Re: $38 billion, and not a penny more. (Jun 10 2004 00:57 GMT) - Sounds like Vodafone is taking some big risks here. If they get locked into this, we can certainly expect the VZW offer to buy them out to be the lowest possible amount under the arrangement. They pay more for AT&T than it is worth, lose their share of VZW, doesn't seem like a win to me. Of course, they might try to keep their share of VZW, but one wonders if they would still have the cash for the Euro carrier they are pursuing. Finally, this doesn't do anything to help the consumer get a strong GSM carrier in the US. |

Holdsclaw v. Davies (Jun 10 2004 00:57 GMT) - Daniel Davies: I wish Saddam Hussein was still in power in Baghdad because if this were the case, then about 3,000 Iraqis would have been murdered by his regime and would be dead, the roughly 10,000 Iraqis we killed ourselves would still be alive, and we would most likely be well on our way to formulating a credible, sensible, properly resourced plan for getting rid of him and handling the aftermath. Sebastian Holdsclaw: This is pure fantasy. European countries and the UN were not in the process of figuring out how to get rid of Saddam just before bumbling George Bush talked them out of it. |
