¿Un radical de Salón? (Jun 10 2004 02:58 GMT)

Bestwall Quarry Archaeology Project (Jun 10 2004 02:57 GMT)

- The Bestwall Quarry site in Dorset has been excavated since 1992. Evidence dating from the Mesolithic into the post-medieval periods has been uncovered by the amateur archaeologists working in conjunction with local professionals. Among the nationally important finds are rare domestic assemblages of beaker pottery from the Early Bronze Age, a feasting site with ritually placed copper alloy bracelets and ceremonial pottery drinking sets from the Middle Bronze Age and extensive evidence of pottery production from the Late Bronze Age. By late Roman times Bestwall had become the site of one of Britain's largest Roman industrialised pottery production sites. Two Roman coin hoards have also been found.
