Message: US sim cards (Jun 10 2004 12:56 GMT) - Hi group, I'm trying to set my girlfriend up with a cell phone in the US. I'm from the UK and know that what I'm going to ask about the US situation can be done in the UK. So, here is my question. I have been looking at cell phones on ebay. If I was to buy a phone on ebay (the US version) which didn't have a sim card, could I walk in to a phone shop in the US and buy a sim card off one of the big network providers? |
