Religious Left Seeks To Reclaim Debate (Jun 11 2004 12:59 GMT) - The Washington Post notes that "more than 350 political liberals of many faiths gathered in Washington yesterday to begin what some pollsters say is a quixotic task: restoring the voice of the religious left in the nation's political debate." "Yet even as the conference at times took on the enthusiasm... |

iTrip mini Ships Early (Jun 11 2004 12:59 GMT) - Good news for everyone that pre-ordered an iTrip mini, the FM transmitter from Griffin Technology that is designed specifically to work with the iPod mini -- it's shipping a month early. How often does that happen? Well, I mean, I guess there was that time when the solids residue from that batch of 5,6-MeO-MIPT recrystallized faster than we expected from the EtOAc/hexane, but I guess, yeah, that was sort of a different trip altogether. Read [GriffinTechnology]... ... |

Sony NV-XYZ 'Navi' Profiled (Jun 11 2004 12:59 GMT) - Linux Devices writes about the Sony 'Navi' in-car navigation systems, the NV-XYZ 33, 55, and 77, and while they say Sony 'introduced' them yesterday, we talked about them (and linked to the Sony website) at least a couple of months ago, so maybe they just mean they launched. Either way, they have a decent write-up about them, including lots of screenshots of the tasty 3D navigation system that renders a videogame-like projection of the areas in front of you (or anywhere else, one would think). I... |

Best Laid Plans (Jun 11 2004 12:57 GMT) - I just hate it when a plan doesn't come together! This morning, for example, I had this brilliant idea of trashing 'A-List Blogs'. "Ooh, what fun this will be", I thought. "What easy targets. I can point out how insanely boring and poorly written some of them are. |
