Vi Tutorial (Jun 15 2004 00:57 GMT) - The Lunux Gazette has a handy tutorial on editing with vim. The first part covers moving around, and cut/copy/paste. Editing with vi can be a nightmarish experience for newbies of unices. But it is one of the most popular editors in the unix world, and nearly all unix boxes are equipped with some variant of vi. Very handy, I've been doing a lot more work in vi lately.... |
