Judges Ruling Today ? (Jun 15 2004 17:57 GMT) - The Judge denied all of the preliminary relief that Bothell was asking for. In-depth ID verification for running warrants and sex-offender status, posting a bond or providing for special liability coverage, providing private security for the area and/or paying for overtime for Bothell police officers ... was all denied. His granting (last week) that Bothell is entitled to have its permit procedures followed and his order that Saint Brendan's apply for a permit is where he feels the city should establish it's needs. So the ball is now back in Bothell City Council's court to craft a permit process that lays out and enforces their requirements for health, safety and security of it citizens, which the judge indicated they were entitled ... |
