Stolen Sharpie Revolution (Jun 15 2004 19:59 GMT) - A great, valuable alternative to major media. But enough about Ink 19, let's talk about the 'zine community. Jason Feifer says it's stronger when the 'zines are better -- and this DIY resource is the book to do that. |

Rasputin's Penis on Display (Jun 15 2004 19:59 GMT) - In a more innocent age, it was said that Gregory Efimovich Rasputin's legendary power over women was due to his piercing eyes. But a new museum of erotica here suggests that the mad monk's charm may instead have been, ahem, concealed beneath his cassock. Punk Legend Robert Quine Dead At 61 (Jun 15 2004 19:59 GMT) - Robert Quine, guitar maverick, punk pioneer, Voidoid, and Velvet Underground archivist, was found dead in his New York City apartment over Memorial Day weekend. I post my complaint against your rules anyway, just to let you know you have one heck of a ridiculous way of saying good-bye to your faithful users. I don't care if you can't afford hosting anymore, there is such a thing as courtesy and letting folks know when you're about to shut down and all that jazz. Way to go. You just scarred your own name and is now synonymous with bad customer service. |
