Intervention (Jun 18 2004 23:57 GMT) - The hitherto unquestioned reputation of the Internet for accuracy and timely updates was thrown in disarray this week. Surfers were amazed to find that a Web page had been set up with promises of regular updates but had not been changed for weeks. Police intervene after webpage lies dormant 'for weeks'. T Minus 12 Days (Jun 18 2004 23:55 GMT) - The closer my move date gets, the wackier I feel. This is definitely preferable to the frustrating limbo of unemployment, but is in some ways a bit worse. So much to do and so little time to do it all in. It's too bad my belongings can't pack themselves. *grumble*In the last few days, I've managed to do a small amount of cleaning, pose for two photographers, put up Sin Garden's storefront, write a giant how-to document for Wicked Talent so the site owner can do all the updates without my intervention, finish my latest web banner commission, get a group of video game developers together at the Twilight Exit for a going away party of sorts (Marcin got revenge on me with a Washington Red Apple shot at the end of the evening, heh), play The Legend of Zelda: |
