Rejecting A Rejection Letter (Jun 18 2004 23:23 GMT) - Rejecting A Rejection Letter. John Kador's rejection letter that rejects a job application rejection letter. Thank you for your letter rejecting my application for employment with your firm. I have received rejections from an unusually large number of exceptionally well qualified organizations. villys : Oups, I did it again.

A brief description from the authors John Zagula and Rich Tong: Most of the time marketing -is way too complicated. One way to keep it simple is to think of it like a game. A game where you need strategy - the Marketing Play™, you need intelligence about what you are up against - the Marketing Playing Field™, and you need some guidelines for when you actually run down the field - the Campaign. |

The man who looked like me (Jun 18 2004 23:17 GMT) - The Man Who Looked Like MeBy Susan BattsI was digging where I shouldn’t beSneaking through the drawerWhen I came across a pictureI had never seen beforeIt was a picture of me I knowI recognized my faceBut I don’t remember when it wasThat I sat and smiled for thisI stared at it for what seemed foreverWondering why it wasn’t framedI thought, “This is a pretty good picture of me”When in the room Dad cameDad caught me snooping in the drawerBut gave me a surprising smileHe took the picture out of my hand And said “It’s been a long while”“Dad, why is this not hung in a frameon the wall like all the rest”He chuckled and said “son, when you arrived,it was happily replaced”Confused, I waited to hear his wordsbut instead I saw his tears“See, the picture you see is not of you,but of me when I was 10 years”“I wish I had seen God’s plan so clearwhen I smiled for this picture. For the reflection that stared back at mewas the preview to my future.”Proudly I stared at the picture once more, counting freckles and dimples of hisI rushed to the mirror and hollered at him,“Dad, hurry and come look at this!”I giggled and laughed at my reflectionAs he stood proudly in the mirrorI look so much like him you see, ”It’s a preview of my own future?”He humbly took my hand and crouchedto tell me face to face“God only knows what you’ll become, but I’m proud I have a place”My dad is strong and unwavering, I’m comforted knowing he’s there With his guidance and devotion, one day I’ll be awareThat my life will proudly be investedin a son of my ownI will gladly tuck my memories aside, to make room for his to be shownOne day I will share this conversationand my son will surely seeThat I became the dad I am becauseof the man who looked like me. |
