Blasting AC (Jun 18 2004 23:17 GMT) - I have to do something about the air conditioning vent right over my computer desk. The first problem is that it's one of those huge hole-in-the-ceiling types, and it doesn't have a vent cover on it. The only thing you can do with the vent covers that go on that type are open and close them, and I'm not sure that it would keep the cold air from blasting down on me anyway. I can't very well keep it closed, as Lin likes it cold in here. So even putting the proper vent cover on it might not solve the problem. |
