KaZaA's Declining Popularity (Jun 30 2004 23:36 GMT) - "At heart, most of these peer-to-peer users are lazy," said Chris Hedgecock, president of Zeropaid, a popular portal site dedicated to file-swapping services. "Kazaa was simply the easiest way to get things they were looking for. Now they're being frustrated. It's taking longer to get files, so they're looking elsewhere." |

Oh my goodness (Jun 30 2004 23:36 GMT) - I hate it when two friends get involved in lawsuits. So Affinity Engines - has sued Google (about Orkut.) I am personally involved with both these companies - so I will refrain from direct comment except - "I hate fucking lawyers who make a living from suing people." Now that's not to say that AE doesn't have the right to - and needed to - do what they did, but man oh man. What a bummer. |

Hvordan ville det vжre smartest at lave? |

Oh Noooooooo (Jun 30 2004 23:32 GMT) - I fear I may end up the Bozo Bin. I told Steven den Beste that I wanted a flying saucer type drone that would be able to fly to McDonalds to fetch dinner. You know, that robot thing The Jetsons had. I didn't tell Mr. den Beste this, but I'd also like it to be able run to 7/11 when I'm out of cigarettes, drop off letters at the post office, or follow the kids when they walk the dog, with some sort of infared camera, beaming their whereabouts back home. |

Here are a few anecdotes to support that premise: Smoking Bans: Many localities are demanding that private business owners ban smoking on their premises. |
