Error on my website 'expected ')' ?!?!!? (Jul 20 2004 13:06 GMT) - Had a look at the site in Dreamweaver (which I'd guess is what it was created in) and once I got it to load there are a lot of things that will slow it down... - Theres masses of nested tables in there which are going to take time to render in IE (and possibly longer in Mozilla) and I'm not 100% sure if some of them aren't broken. - The tradedoubler links aren't helping things as their all Javascript based. They shouldn't be running until the mouse goes over, but the shear amount of code is causing the page loading to slow even more. - All those images being pulled from Tradedoubler won't help things as your waiting for their servers to catch up and then for the images to be rendered at this end. |

How Much Would You Pay For a Cup of Coffee? (Jul 20 2004 13:06 GMT) - Quote: "Most often if you really know someone there is no single thing that defines them, it's a whole package of things associated with different senses and parts of your brain." Yup. And, what do you attach your "package of associations" to? The person's face (if you know them in person). |

Outer Limits Mini-Marathon on SciFI Today (Jul 20 2004 13:06 GMT) - The SciFi channel is running a mini-marathon (8 consecutive 1-hour episodes beginning at 8am) of one of my favorite TV shows, the original Outer Limits. They're even going to run one of my favorite episodes, Demon with a Glass Hand, at 11am. I don't have the time (or inclination) to watch 8 hours of TV, but I may try to catch one of the eight. For the complete schedule click here. |

Explorer overtager alle systemressourcer (Jul 20 2004 13:05 GMT) - Hej Alle. |

...this house is clear." (Jul 20 2004 13:05 GMT) - Well after a few more rounds with the bathroom, some honey-laden tea to soothe my angry stomach, more sleep I a day than I usually get in three (albeit cold, sweaty sleep), and a back-to-back watching of The Fellowship... and The Two Towers Special Editions and I woke up feeling 100% better. I think what I had was a bout of food poisoning. I traced what I'd eaten in the last few days and realized taht I'd eaten something on Saturday that I normally never do, a Subway TUNA sub. |
