Will Legal Fears Freeze the Penguin? (Aug 07 2004 17:56 GMT) - Linux's bid to become a serious rival in Europe to Microsoft's (MSFT ) dominant Windows operating system hit a bit of a snag this week. On Aug. 4, the city of Munich's plans to switch 14,000 computers to Linux's open source system was put on hold. The city had made headlines when it announced the scheme last May. Technology research outfit Gartner at the time called it one of the largest desktop migrations to Linux ever disclosed. |

Hard drive partions and Ad problems (Aug 07 2004 17:52 GMT) - well my intention was to learn how to dual boot a computer not really see 2 os's bnut anyway i have another little problem i thought someone on here might know. ive started getting ads in the form of net sends. They just come randomly about every 10 minutes and i cant figure out whats causing them. ive use ad aware and its found no spyware. Anyone knows whats wrong? |

Un vase tombé sur le magnifique tapis rouge éclatant de la chambre à coucher qui n'attend que d'être recollé. Mais l'eau que lui verse la vieille dame coule par une douce fissure qui est apparu lors de l'accident. La vieille dame ne comprenant pas pourquoi chaque matin, lorsque qu'elle se lève pour aller remplir ce vase en porcelaine venant d'un pays dont elle ne se souvient plus le nom, se vide après chaque lune. Pourtant son fils avait beau lui dire que le vase avait perdu de sa beauté, qu'il était cassé et qu'il lui en offrirait un neuf, la vieille dame continua. |
