- I have been doing some Java applets for some tags in BlueDragon, and late last night I was pulling my hair out at a bug that for the life of me I couldn't spot. The whole communication channel is to allow the web developer to throw in some server side tags and we produce all the necessary client side code to render the applet. This involves communicating data to the applet using the <PARAM> tag mechanism. |

- As I outlined in my post, there are a number of not only important but very grave issues out there in the world which need addressing. If a "Building Better Websites Together" forum is the place to bring those issues up is another thing. Likewise I can easily outdo you and post not one tech story a day but tens. But would it help someone to build a better website? Worse, if some of those stories are quoted from news sources most people in the building better websites business have no faith in as they popularise up to the point of overstepping over-simplification into being more than slightly misleading, and I pay no attention to this fact I might actually do forum visitors a disfavour. |
