- Encore une nuit très courte. Hier soir je suis allée manger chez mon cousin (Hervé). On a bu l'apéro, je lui ai fait à manger, on a discuter, bu du vin et tout et tout. Quand j'ai regardé l'heure, il était 1h du mat'... Le temps de me bouger un peu, de lui dire au revoir, de rentrer chez moi, de me doucher, ben c'était 2h Avec le réveil à 6h, encore... |

- Ces pages contiennent le début du "Journal d'Ezekiel Rosario", une nouvelle qui a pour but de rapporter le vécu d'un vampire depuis ses débuts jusqu'à aujourd'hui, ajouté aux reflexions qu'il a et qui le tourmentent... Les influences principales sont "Entretien avec un Vampire" (aussi bien le livre que le film), les autres oeuvres de Anne Rice ainsi que des idées et pistes de reflexions lancées dans d'autres oeuvres...
