Sprint PCS Launches Samsung i600 (Sep 22 2004 18:27 GMT) - Sprint has officially unveiled the Samsung i600 smartphone, a Windows Mobile 2003 clamshell (the first Windows Mobile unit for Sprint PCS, they say). Their website has it listing for $470 and it should be in stores next month. This is essentially the same phone released last year by Verizon, so don't expect a whole lot to be different than that (or any other Windows Mobile unit, really). I wasn't clear (Sep 22 2004 18:27 GMT) - Based on the comments to this post, it's obvious that I was not clear. It's not that the mac UI is unstable; far from it. Our current VM for the OS X platform is unstable. We are going to stopgap that problem by using our X11 based engine for the time being |
