I Spent Money, But It Wasn't Fun (Oct 08 2004 02:57 GMT) - It's school fundraising time again. Tomorrow is the deadline for getting orders turned in. I just couldn't make myself pass a catalog of overpriced wrapping paper, coffee mugs, and Christmas tree ornaments around to my family and friends. On the other hand, I didn't want my daughter to be one of the few children in her class who didn't have any orders, so I went through the catalog and found something to buy. I bought a magazine subscription and something else I don't even remember now. |
