- I'm trying to replace the tip on my baitcaster and unfortunately my local tackle shop didn't have any tips in stock. I checked out Sports Authority and they had the tips but I didn't know what size to get. I spoke to the person running the fishing section and asked that I bring my rod in. He gave me the size he thought was right but unfortunately, it wasn't. I can fit the previous tip into the hole of the new tip. |

- Well, I did return to the lake on Saturday morning at dawn. The temp was as cool as it's been this year - 54 degrees. I know, I know - that isn't very cold compared to where many of you live. The bass fishing started out pretty good but was over by 9AM. I managed to hook 11 and brought 8 to the boat. |

- Tonight is the Homecoming Dance. I posted some photos of Lindsey and her date. This has been a very different experience for me. In years past when we had these kinds of events there was a gaggle of girls getting ready for a dance and before we left one boy would join all these girls for our photo ops. This year Lindsey was invited to the prom and she and I drove over to his house for the photo ops. |
