Homophobic rappers against Bush (Oct 24 2004 04:59 GMT) - Eminem is the latest on the musicians- against-Bush bandwagon. Can't say I found his new anti-Bush song that impressive, but as Boingboing pointed out, this is our country's most popular musician; the fact that he wrote it in the first place definitely says something. |

Steel yourself against cynicism (Oct 24 2004 04:59 GMT) - Study: Many Bush Supporters Think Iraq Had WMDs (more) If this makes you consider writing off half of the population, remember the old(?) saying that "99% of the world are assholes". Using current statistics, there are 6,331,596,192 assholes on this planet, and a mere 63,955,517 saintly non-assholes. It is unlikely that you or I fall into the latter category. |

I would however suggest that you install apache, mysql and php on your machine, read a lot of tutorials and buy a book. Oh and also go to the forums and keep up the practice and if it is a resume that you are after document what you do in your record's for proof of proficienty Mike |

Who owns subscription data? (Oct 24 2004 04:56 GMT) - Jon Udell: As Bloglines continues to grow, its subscription data becomes more interesting. Yesterday, while demonstrating the application to some folks, I showed how you can navigate from a feed to the list of subscribers to that feed. Only those subscribers who agree to make their data public are shown. So in my case, for example, there are only 755 public subscribers out of 2337 total subscribers. |

Good night! (Oct 24 2004 04:55 GMT) - Well, I picked Ian home from work and am about to go to bed. The game ended as I was driving through the Leverett Connector tunnel towards Storrow Drive, and I'll confess that for a brief while I was rooting for the clock, as I didn't want to get stuck in game traffic (I didn't). One problem with the radio is that if you're not careful, you may miss hearing which side is at bat. Really difficult hearing that somebody's ball is a 'high-flying... will it make it... |

Oh, for crying out loud. (Oct 24 2004 04:45 GMT) - Mr. Nader, determined to the last, doesn't plan to stop helping the Republicans after the election The Supreme Court yesterday refused to place independent presidential candidate Ralph Nader on the ballot in Pennsylvania, leaving in place a state court finding of flawed signatures on voter petition sheets.Nader asked the court Thursday to review Pennsylvania's decision to remove him.
